After my (failed) efforts with Zbrush its so great to get into a 3D packages and just get to work without having to train your self into a new interface. I followed about 3 tutorials and worked on Zbrush for a week and just couldn't get close to the results that I was supposed to be getting through the tutorials. the thing with Zbrush was that all its little settings and functions were all hidden to me and I just did not understand what did what.
I'm always so impressed by the great sculpting work done in Zbrush only because i have no idea how they managed to get those results with such a wacky program. ;D
Mudbox on the other hand seems to take great effort to quickly familiarise you with its, already very familiar, interface and show you were everything is. watching the 2 minute video tutorial that is available to you on start up gives you all the basics you need to know to get working.
Some drawback are the slightly slower response time on my PC when sculpting. But I'd have that any day over not being productive due to all the hidden functionality.
Ill post something up soon.
Woooo Mudbox!
